Located in the heart of midtown Toronto, we’re an old-school diner serving you classics! From our red vinyl seats, checkered floors, milkshakes, and music from the 50s through the 80s. And yes, only until the 80s—those are the house rules. It took long enough just to get the music past the 60s!

First-timers are usually overwhelmed by our menu. Considering the diner is more than half a century old, the menu could’ve been as thick as a novel if we kept everything! Every part of our menu is catered toward our people and the additions we’ve added are stuff we know you guys will enjoy! We’ve added some extra comfort food favorites we know you’ll love, like our homemade chicken and waffles, baked mac & cheese, and indulgent desserts drenched in Nutella.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Mars is a family-owned, locally owned restaurant with excellent service and a breakfast that's impossible to dislike. It's located one block from the Eglinton subway station and close to bus stops. It doesn't have its own parking lot, but there are public parking spaces on the street. A tip for those visiting on weekends is to arrive early, as due to the variety of items on the menu, the restaurant is usually busy and ordering may take a little longer. The service is excellent, always attentive, patient, and caring. The menu offers a wide variety of items, but the most popular items are usually marked with a red star. The prices are good and well worth it, as the portions are generous. Unfortunately, Mars doesn't have adequate facilities for serving customers with disabilities; The restrooms are located on the lower floor, requiring the use of stairs. The aisle between tables is narrow, making it difficult for wheelchairs to access. There's no Braille menu, and there's no automatic door. The restaurant doesn't have a patio, so pets are unfortunately not allowed. It's worth a visit, and you should definitely try the variety of items on offer.
